Environment and Classroom Design Services

At Rooted Learning, we believe that exceptional learning environments are intentionally designed to inspire curiosity, independence, collaboration, creativity, and belonging. Beautiful, organized, flexible spaces encourage children to ask questions, solve problems, take appropriate risks, and see themselves as capable learners. They also support educators by making teaching more intentional and creating opportunities for observation, documentation, and reflection.

Rather than simply furnishing classrooms, we partner with schools to create environments that embody their educational philosophy and become enduring partners in the work of teaching and learning. And then, we support educators in the pedagogical documentation that underpins the resulting learning.

❋ Expert consultation, quality furnishings

We provide holistic design consultation services, and for select partners, we procure and furnish the classroom in alignment with the ideas espoused by Reggio Emilia.

From providing select classroom enhancements to get an educator started, to engaging in complete classroom transformations, Rooted Learning believes that an integral part of a child’s learning journey is being in a place where their sense of wonder is encouraged and their individual exploration is nurtured.
